London: Conde Nast, 1977. First edition. Softcover. Ender’s Game was not published as a novel until 1985 (by Tor books). The novel was an expanded version of a short novella that appeared in Analog in August 1977. Ender's Game was recognised as best novel in both the 1985 Nebula Awards and the 1986 Hugo Awards. It spawned multiple sequels and is considered a classic of military sci-fi. The original story includes all the main characters (and the brilliant plot twist) but differs slightly from the final novel. A very rare item. Tiny chip missing on rear cover.
